Benefits

Cardio, or cardiovascular activity, doesn’t just have to mean running on a treadmill. Cardio can be any activity that raises your heart rate. This can be running, hiking, biking, swimming, or throwing your arms in the air and pretending like you just don’t care. As long as you’re breathing hard, you’re doing it right! Not everyone needs the same amount or type of cardio in their workouts. Together we will find the perfect fit for you!

Why is Cardio Important?

Cardiovascular diseases can be directly related to having a poor cardiovascular system. Doing cardio can make your heart stronger, and make it easier to breath while exercising and / or doing everyday activity. Routine cardio can help your body transport oxygen and blood, which helps decrease LDL (“bad”) cholesterol and increase your HDL (“good”) cholesterol. When your body is functioning at its full potential, it will be WAY easier to reach your goals.

Strength Training WORKS

How many times have you said to yourself:

  • I have no balance
  • I have no core strength
  • I wish I could get rid of this area

Just like everyone else in the world, there is always something we want to work on. Strength training is the way to get you there. This consists of using your body weight, dumbbells, kettle bells, medicine balls, TRX, power lifting, among many other types of training.

Body Weight Exercises

Increase your core strength, flexibility, endurance, and lean muscle mass with no equipment!

Dumbbells

Become more stable and lean. Adding dumbbells to any body weight exercise can help get you past a plateau and onto a new level of fitness.

Kettle Bells

Kettle bells are a great way to incorporate your stabilizer muscles into any normal exercise. The weight of the kettle bell is primarily at the bottom which makes it seem off center. This makes the kettle bell more aerodynamic for an excellent full body endurance and strength building workout.

Medicine Balls

Want to have more power and be able to move much quicker? Medicine balls can aid with the explosive movements and that make you have better reaction times.

TRX (Total Resistance eXercise)

Everyone wants a flat tummy. The TRX is designed around core strength. The more you use it, the stronger your stomach gets!

Power Lifting

By definition, powerlifting is a maximal strength exercise. This will increase muscle mass dramatically, and get you those popped-out muscles you’ve been dreaming about.
