My entire business is based upon the people I have been working with over the years. My clientele has ranged from the average person just trying to get stronger and lose body fat, to triathletes. I’ve trained children ranging from 3-12 years old in gymnastics along with 60-92 year old men and women trying to keep and better their range of motion. We’ve been friends for years, and in the months leading up to me beginning with her, we had a couple of discussions about her training me. Nothing materialized out of those discussions until she informed me that her gym was moving into a space directly across the street from my apartment. I was finally out of excuses. I had the desire to get back into shape, but lacked the motivation. That changed immediately, thanks to Amy. She is incredibly knowledgeable about what it takes to live a healthy lifestyle. Christy R Testimonial PictureEvery time I would see my son, he was more and more ripped so I asked him what he was doing.  He shared he was working with a personal trainer so I immediately reached out and scheduled my first training with Amy.  We had a family wedding coming up so it was the perfect motivation to get me back into my fitness routine. Prior to training with Amy, I was on a big break from working out, and prior to the break, I was doing only yoga.  My muscles had deteriorated; I had lost all definition, and was carrying extra weight.  I also had a few minor injuries so I was concerned weight bearing training might make things worse.  Amy did a thorough intake with me and took extra care around my injuries.

After years of working out using routines from magazines, apps, and websites, I had plateaued. I wanted to lose fat while gaining muscle; I wasn’t overweight, but I knew I could slim down. We started meeting twice a week for an hour doing low weight, high rep exercises. After about 6 weeks, we started moving into heavier weights, always focusing on proper form and execution. Through the right variation and repetition I began to really notice the results. And the whole time we were constantly documenting my measurements to compare my progress. In the year that I was working out with her I gained over 15 pounds of lean muscle, while also dropping my body fat percentage by almost 5%.
